Donor Information

Donor InformationThank you for considering a contribution to the I3L.  Our mission is to advance the goals of the IHI Triple Aim through the application of technology.  This requires a continuously refreshed set of resources and tools that align with existing and emerging federal standards and proven practices.  We strive to maintain a “state of the market” environment in which innovators can create new pathways to break down longstanding healthcare interoperability barriers.  Please consider, among all of your planned giving options, the worthy mission of the I3L in terms of advancing personal and public heath through the application of technology.

Why give to the I3L?

For the good of personal and public health and wellness, health IT systems must stop competing on infrastructure and migrate to state-of-the-art, modular, flexible architectures supporting shared data and information models.  Such changes will dramatically reduce the technical barriers blocking the exchange of interoperable health information, not only for healthcare delivery activities, but also for personal and population health improvement.  These modular, flexible systems are essential if clinicians and other users are ever going to have agile, adaptable health IT solutions that can adapt fast enough to incorporate the rapid advances in health and healthcare delivery necessary to achieve the Triple Aim*:

  • Improving the patient experience of care, including quality and patient satisfaction;
  • Improving the health of populations; and
  • Reducing the per capita cost of health care.

This is something that the I3L membership can help achieve, and something that inevitably touches each of us personally both as we participate in our own wellness and healthcare and advocate for those we care about.
